Saferinternet.jo is Jordan Safer Internet Day Committee to delivered Safer Internet Day event in Jordan by promoting the safe and responsible use of the Internet to create a better internet for everyone and especially for younger users by promoting the positive and safe use of technology for good causes, education as well as personal and professional growth. Safer Internet Day (SID) is organised by the Insafe network of Safer Internet Centres (on behalf of the European Commission) in February of each year to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially among children and young people across the world. Although the campaign originally started in Europe back in 2004, it has grown year on year since that time and is now celebrated in more than 150 countries worldwide.
